This is definitely a step up in terms of appearance when compared to most skillets in this price range. Performance: the unit heats incredibly fast and evenly. The clip top lid is wonderful, because the edge of the pan has a built-in spout so you can pour of broth, liquid, grease, etc. Just try and do that with an ordinary skillet that doesn’t have a locking lid, and doesn’t have a pour spout. Temperature control is excellent. The thick rubber feet, and sturdy cast metal… Continue reading

This pan is a great addition to the cookware set. This pan is all-purpose and I use it every day for so many different dishes. Its not too big, and not too small and clean up is a breeze. Lightweight, sturdy, and a quality product. I might be biased, but I simply love Rachel ray’s 30 minutes cooking show and her chirpy personality. I also love bright splash of orange cookware in my kitchen. This is everything I was wanting in a skillet. Nonstick… Continue reading

I can’t fault the rice this thing cooks. I love the time delay function: I usually set it before I leave for work and its hot and fluffy when I get home. I have also used it to steam asparagus, which went well. My only complaint is that it came with the steam escape unit detached, and with no instructions now to assemple it, though it was quite easy once I figured it out.
I’ve been cooking for over 20… Continue reading

As with all All Clad products, this skillet is solidly built and performs as advertised. The helper handle makes it easier to use with heavy loads, but harder to hang up with my other pans since the space I have isn’t as big as this pan is long. The included instructions say not to use salt directly in the pan as the pan will become discoloured or pitted; The first time I used the pan, I salted my fish fillet prior to placing it… Continue reading
